[TVARC] A Challenge!

TVARCers:

I was recently approached by a neighbor to see if, via ham radio, we could
identify an individual in Gander, Newfoundland in which they could trade New
Year Greetings. What they want to do is when midnight rolls around in Gander
Newfoundland (1030PM local time) is to make contact with someone who is
celebrating New Years in Gander.

Does anyone have any contacts in Gander NF, V01 land?

My intent is to get a name that would be willing to participate and have
them forward an email to me, KI4VPD at arrl.net and I would pass it on to the
neighbor so they could finalize details.

Crazy, I know, but I was told that since New Year's is 1.1/2 hours earlier
in Gander,  the 1030 time here would be compatible with the Older
generation!
