[TVARC] lightning

Hi folks,

Interesting story. The house cross the street took a direct hit just in
front of the house *on the ground*. It blew the lamppost fixture off the
pole,  put *two* holes in the ground, blew decorative gravel up to 60 - 70
feet away, blew part of the soffit out,and *it didn't touch* a 25' palm
tree, five feet away from where it hit.

So much for lightning looking for the highest point!

I did take pictures.
