[TrunkCom] Control Channel?

Greetings, I am here in Buffalo right now and of been playing around with my visual descriptive camera hear my phone. I didn't realize that I programmed in the transit system trunk system here in Buffalo and when not involved with any talk groups it shows the frequency of the control channel. Will this also show the frequency that a talk group is active on?
