[TrunkCom] getting access to EDACS radio to monitor ProVoice systems?

I'll have to check that out after work.  You know it took the city of Denver 
about 10 years or so to put ESK on their system, and I remember reading on 
either here or scan-l that they had some kid in about 2001 who was actually 
coming on the air and playing cop and interfering.
    IN the days of having to obtain an older Motorola Radio for access to 
Astro, did anyone get in trouble for that?  Moto systems did then and now 
have some sevurity measures, and I'm talking even about the older 3600 BAUD 
systems that are going out in favor of P-25;
