Not to prejudge, but I think the scanner makers need to rethink some of
this. You see on places like radioreference ads for programming, but wasn't
the whole idea of a programmable scanner to have the ability for one to
program his/her own scanner and not have to deal with changing or ordering
new crystals? In some ways they've made them a little too complicated and
have missed the whole purpose with either conventional or trunking.
