Not to mention saving the thumbs when using the wheel on the 250D/296D or or the wrist when twisting the knob on the 780/785/796 when labelling the channels.

If you try it once, you'll wonder why one would use anything else.
I just use the programming by hand to fill in a new station, or make other
small changes.
It's well worth the cost.
