[TrunkCom] considering investing in a new scanner, but not sure what to get

I actually programmed mine by hand but Software would of been of great help.  Software would come in hand especially if you want to ogranize your Talk Groups from lowest to hightest or vice-a-versa or by groups.  It also would be easier on the keyboards.  It would be great if these scanners came with a mini qwerty keyboard so you would NOT need a computer.

For software, there are Yahoo groups:

PSREDIT
WIN500
PRO96COMM

Also if programming by hand there is the FREE 500DL backup program.  I use it.  Also there is PRO96COMM which works with the PRO-106
