[TrunkCom] what to do with an old inoperative BC250?

Greetings everyone on the lists.  I still have my old  BC250D that I got
in 2003.  However, due to a transportational accident when coming home
from the last trip to Arkansas. the on/off switch is now inoperative with
a broken shaft.  I would hate to throw it out as I spent nearly $1000 in
2003 for this, and I can still use it on several of the 3600 BAUD trunking
system in the Detroit area, but I'm just wondering if it is worth getting
repaired as the rebanding will soon take place, and the push a around here
to get everyone onto the MPSCS with the 9600 BAUD system.  I'd be willing
to sell this unit at a reduced price, but just keep in mind that you will
need to find someone to repair the broken shaft for the on/off.
