The discussion of the PSR-500 and 600 is active on Radioreference:

The PSR-600 Mobile/base is projected to be released on Dec. 15th, 
pending FCC approval in mid Nov.
The 600 is operationally identical to the 500.

Two magazine reviews have been written:
Aug. Popular Communications, Rich Wells (of Strong Signals)
Nov. Monitoring Times, Larry Van Horn

There are three software packages available and one in process:
Win500, Starrsoft
PSREdit, Pro96Com (9600 baud decoding), Mike Vander Veer
Arc500, Butel (due in Dec.)
