[TrunkCom] can we decode encryption? Scanner Police??

OK, so now everyone knows that it is illegal to decode encrypted 
transmissions.  I look at this law in about the same manner as I did the 
ECPA of '86.
Did that stop me from listening to illegal frequencies?  That's a question 
I'll never answer!!.

My point is, if you if you do it,  and boast about it, then I suspect that 
at some point in time you are going to get caught. (Maybe a "concerned 
citizen" reported you!):.

 My ?? to the group - Will I be visited by the "Scanner Police" if I invent 
a way to decode encrypted transmission in the privacy of my own home?
