Thank you very much as well for your info, I apprerciate your help. I see  
that there are some people on here that are very helpful and informative.  
However others are quick to auume that my question was an intention to break the  
law, which was not the intention!
My intention was to try to continue doing my hobby of police monitoring and  
the trunking scanner I have no longer works so I wanted to know if I could buy 
 something to fix it.
