[TrunkCom] Scanner Choice

Just like when you wanted RCA plugs on the back of the 396 before it was
released. Have you given any thought into the circuitry that would have to
go into a scanner just so it can output a video signal of the display.
Software packages have been around for a while now that will let you have a
scanner interface right on your computer screen, AND record the audio that
goes with the signal on the computer controllable scanners.

That would be a good idea. A scanner where one could output the Video of
the screen plus the audiio of the action to a TV. I know that with my
Pro-2006, I would hook it up with an RCA type cable to the back of the TV
and then with my early nineties video camera I would film the froont of it
for future listening enjoyment. Based on this the scanner makers could make
it so you could plug a mini video cable ino the video putput of the scanner
and then into the RCA input of a TV. Same thing for the audio except this
one would branch into two RCA type cables for stereo sound. I am basing
this on the connectors that came with my Polaroid 7" Monitor Portable DVD
player.
If it works like that then it should work for a radio scanner.
