[TrunkCom] Introduction

Hello,
   
    My name is David (Dave) and I am new to the list. I have a new Radio Shack 
Pro 94 Scanner. I want to listen to my local fire department since I do 
volunteer work with them. I'm not a fire fighter. I work with other volunteers
and we are activated when a "working fire" is declared. When that happens we
show up with bottles of water, gatorade, snacks and a van load of other items
and set up a rest area for the fire fighters.
   
     I am also part of another volunteer group, Community Emergency Response 
Team (CERT) and I am also a licensed amateur radio operator and I am a member
of ARES.
   
     I am located in the San Franciso Bay Area about 25 miles south of Oakland.
