No, the "Fire" talkgroups were established when the system was created
with the intention of them actually using the system. They did for 2
days, then went back to UHF, vowing to never return again. The only
exception to this is Airport Fire who use the trunked system with no
simulcast to UHF. But those are the ONLY Fire units that use it. No
fire talkgroups are patched to UHF.

More towers, more frequencies, new channel layout, new radios.
