[TrunkCom] Programming a desktop

Here is the trackenv.txt file that I use:
TRACKSCAN=R8500
TRACKSCANPORT=COM2
TRACKSCANBAUD=9600
TRACKSCANPARK=850.000
TRACKSLICERPORT=COM1
TRACKSLICERMODE=INVERT
TRACKSLICERPIN=CTS

Is should be self explanatory. I have the data slicer on COM1, and I have
an Icom 8500 attached to COM2 for the audio.
I save this as "trackenv.txt"
Then I use a batch file called trunk.bat to set the environment variable and
start trunker.exe:

set TRACKENV=l:\radio\trunker\trackenv.txt
l:\radio\trunker\trunker.exe

As you can see, both the trackenv.txt and trunker.exe live in the
"l:\radio\trunker" directory.
Good luck...

Subject: [TrunkCom] Programming a desktop

I have a question for the list..I am trying to run TRUNKER 3.8.2 through
a desktop computer that I just acquired. It is a WIN 95 machine (which
will still go into "true DOS"). I know that my slicer decodes out onto
COMPORT 4 and I get the nice slicer bar chart...The problem is that I
can not get trunker to see the data coming from my interface.

What I am looking for is step by step help in rewriting a "TRACKENV or
TRNKENV file so that the comport will see the data. * I have read the
TRUNKER documentation and tried to follow it but still have no luck.

If anyone can respond either on list or personal, it would greatly
appreciate it.   Thanks   Jeff
