Well, anything east of Woodward AVE is the east side. There is a lot of
city of Detroit that is east of Woodward, and since officers don't ahve to
live in Detroit any more this officer is living in Grosse Pointe Woods as
his wife gave me the rough location of where they were and according to
her her husband has had problems with getting a signal, and his originally
assigned portable wasn't holding charges. Detroit's Subsystem of the
MPSCS is using the newer LSM modulation, and when on the bus going to the
medical center which is close to Downtown in some places reception is
rather well, but out in Grosse Pointe, and I presently am just a few
blocks from Detroit, you'll hear a transmission for a few minutes fine and
then it will drop out and return.
