[TrunkCom] Formats

To go from decimal to hex, enter the number into the Windows scientific
calculator (or equivalent) and then click the Hex radio button. To go from
Hex to Dec, click the Hex button, enter the ID, then click the Decimal
button.

There's a formula for AFS floating around on the internet, somewhere, but I
can't find it right now. But many of the software programs for loading
scanners can convert from one to the other - mine you just set the format to
the one you have and type them in. If you want to see them on the scanner
in a different one, change it back before you upload back to the scanner.
(That's with Winxx for the GRE scanners - I don't use scancat, and I don't
own any Unidens.

I have seen posts where talkgroups are listed in Hex, AFS, DEC. Does anyone
have a formula that will allow you to convert between the different formats
