[TrunkCom] Indiana Safe-T and Ohio MARCS updates

There has been talk about that on some of the local
groups. I forget what the answer to that is.
VSLEP gives Cleveland a little bit of security from
scannists except when one listens to cleveland.com/
I guess that is why even though they use VSELP they
still use encrytption. I know that NASHVILLE was
VSELP but went to P-25. What with Cuyahoga County
trying to get a P-25 County Wide TRS, who know what
will happen know?

Will it be like Columbus: Public Safety and Public
Service, or one encompassing system? Will it also
include the schools like some systems do? Will it be
linked to the Lake County P-25 TRS and the
Akron/Summit County P-25 TRS? Will it be like the
Akron/Summit County and Canton/Stark County P-25 TRSs?

Who knows. Only time will tell.

Recently there has been more and more talk of
REGIONALISM in this county. I would like to see that
happen. Those people that moved out of the city and
into the burbs and bough those exculsionariy houses
would have a fit over this. I would be laughing.
Some burbs already trying to take the first steps of
REGIONALISM. One burbs would have the Squads, and
another burb the ladders, etc. What with traffic
being what it is around here, I would hate to see a
Squad NOT arriving on time because it had to travel
from one municipalty to another.
