[TrunkCom] Control Frequency Only Mode

Hi Jerry, As stated earlier in this thread Motorola has a channel
assignment all set up for their systems in the 800-900 MHz range, and then
base and offsets for the VHF/UHF trunking systems. With EDACS and LTR
systems the controler will just tell the radio to go to logical channel
number (LCN) 1 for a call and the LCNS for LTR and EDACS do not correspond
to any frequency, but rather is what the system programmer decides. I am
not sure about MPT-1327 or TETRA, but Passport is another form of LTR
trunking as is Multi-net. Multi-net is used for public safety users and
has other features such as priority cuing, and emergency calls, etc. I'm
not sure about Passport, but a lot of public safety agencies are using
passport too.
