Hi everyone, I was just reading on radioreference.com about the Pennsylvania
OpenSky System, and I guess that some people are using it for voice, and I
was just wondering if anyone knew how the people using it were liking it.
Here is a bit of information from radioreference.com
Misc System Information

The following state agencies have used or are using OpenSky for voice
traffic:

PennDOT (Districts 5 and 6, southeastern PA)
PEMA
Health
Military & Veterans Affairs/PA Nat. Guard
Attorney General*
Probation & Parole
State Police*
Area Transportation Authority (regional transit provider in Cameron,
Clearfield, Jefferson, Elk, McKean, Potter Counties)**

* - PSP is using the system for data. They were supposed to use the system
for voice testing starting this past fall. However, whether testing moved
ahead
or not cannot be confirmed.
OAG is still heard now and then on UHF when conducting aerial operations.

** - ATA is one of several non state government users who signed on to use
the PA OpenSky system.
