[TrunkCom] Digital trunking

Howdy, all -

I'm about to buy another scanner which will be used primarily for 
VHF/UHF public service (police, highway patrol, etc.) listening.  I live 
near the Twin Cities and I'm told that many trunked services in this 
area have already moved to digital.  We all know that current 
digital-enabled scanners are way pricey.  My question is this: Is there 
after-market software (ScanCat, etc.) that will track digital trunks on 
an analog trunk tracking scanner?  IOW, can I buy a good analog trunk 
tracker (like a PRO-95) and get digital trunk tracking from it using 
external software?
