[TrunkCom] Help w. E.F. Johnson 800 Mhz / Ericsson

I just purchased a Radio Shack Pro-2052 Dual Trunking scanner. I am told
by R/S Product Support that the E.F. J is similar to the EDACS (or is) and
that the frequencies must be input in the correct order.

Got it... but...

I live in Oswego County, New York and there are 10 such 800Mhz freqs. I
have seen them in  simmilar, but differing orders. I have input each of
the lists in separate banks but still nothing...The one that seems most
direct has a channel # after each freq, but that order still doesn't
produce any results. But, when not trunking, I do hear traffic.

Am I on the right track? Any other ideas?
