[TrunkCom] Detroit still moving over to MPSCS around September 1?

Hi everyone, the cite 226, which was the temporary cite for Detroit's
users on the MPSCS has not been on the air in a few weeks so I am just
going to assume that it is gone, and a week ago I happened to meet one of
the medics, and he said that he has already received training and was
quite impressed with the new radios, but I don't know how are they
planning on switching over, and which areas of public safety will be the
first to switch over?  Just as a bit of historical information, when
Grosse Pointe made the switch in September of 2001 a lot of people were in
a hurry to get to the new system, and we started using the system before
all our mobiles were installed, but a lot of people were using portables,
and there was no patching over to the new system for long but we still had
a few months worth of installing to do when we made the switch over.
