[TrunkCom] just double checking on something with the Pro-96 and locking into talkgroups

Hi everyone, I do a lot of monitoring of our state's system,  and my
Pro-96 gets a lot of use, and a friend of mine also does a lot of
monitoring as well, and I know that on smartzone systems talkgroups will
only be active at a given cite if a user's radio roams and starts to use
that cite for communications, and maybe this friend is confused, but he is
saying that he has roamed from one tower to another on our state's system,
and the TG he was monitoring on the original cite is also on the cite that
he roamed to.  I am thinking that it is because someone's radio is on that
talkgroup, but this person has gone past three or four cites though, and
just because your scanner is on that group doesn't mean it will stay
active right?
