I wonder why they didn't look at this issue when designing digital?  That
is certainly a different route to go when handling digital and tones that
don't get a long well.  There are many ways of handling this, and some
systems that tone out will keep VHF or UHF and tone out there, and some
will patch to 800MHz and some will not.  One user on the MPSCS does
transmit the tones on both the MPSCS digital system, and VHF, and of
course thsound strange on the 800 MHz side, and some digital systems just
opt to use the pager function of the system and no tones are passed, but
are there any other systems that handle dispatch this way?  I'm assuming
that what you have is patched toone of the TRS's there some where a long
the way?
