Hi everyone. I have a couple of 220 MHz MPT-1327 trunking systems around
here in the Detroit area. While giving the 220 MHz band just a casual
search I heard the control channels which I have heard before, and then
some voice traffic that appears to be using either SSB or some kind of
encryption. According to radioreference.com both the systems on 220 MHz
in my area that are MPT-1327 are using analogue voice, but does anyone
know more about who is using these systems and for what? Also, what kind
of encryption if any is used with these systems? When I did the search I
was using my BC250D and tried monitoring the voice coms in wide band FM
and AM with no luck. Later on I plan on taking my THF6A and monitoring it
then in other modes. Any information would be great, and thanks in
advance.
