[TrunkCom] new to trunking scanners

Hi All,

I used to listen to scanners years ago, 15 to be exact, so the technology has changed a lot.

I have a good friend with a Uniden BC250 and I was wondering if that is the best, or one of the best, trunking scanners, not including the ones that have APCO stuff in them?

Also, if there are some good, comprehensive web sites discussing scanners at length and in detail, please let me know - I would rather read up a lot before bombarding you all with "newbie" questions.
