If it's motorola.  Just either find the control channels on the net or insert 
all the chs into one bank until you find the ccs.  Alls you need are the 
controls and to have the bank and frequency set for mo, hit scan and the radio 
does the rest.  For edacs you need to place the radio in lcn order.  Set the bank 
for edacs and the first frequency for edacs.  If the system is set up like 
this:

1 857.2625
2 867.2500
3 855.7125
4 855.2375
5 856.9625

then the radio needs to be set up like this

101 857.2625
102 867.2500
103 855.7125
104 855.2375
105 856.9625
