So what if they do need updates?  At least you CAN update it!

Besides there is no comparison to Windows - actually I don't think you
can compare anything to how often Windows needs updating!  The PRO-96 has
only had one update, and it would still work fine on most systems without
it; Windows on the other hand could go down without all of the band aids
it needs...
