Don't know.  Know that's the case with my Camera batts in a panasonic.  You 
can't charge them for 4hr and then shut down and tommorow charge for the 
final 1 hour.  You have to do it the whole 5 otherwise the timer starts 
again.  No way fro the charger to tell.  Only way to tell is if the batts 
burst.  LOL.
