New to the list and just bought a new 250D. (My last Uniden was the
BC100--so it's been a while since I bought a new scanner).
Anyway, is anybody having any luck (!) with eScanner PLUS software.
This is the $100 or so "improved" software. I can't get it to load
frequencies on a normal bank. On my trunked bank it loaded some names
for fleet groups but not the numbers. In general it doesn't load
stuff on the scanner. It finds the scanner and knows it's there, but
won't load much info.
I don't mind (well I do sort of) lame software when it's free, but
$100.00 for stuff that doesn't work is beyond me.
BTW, after mostly hand programming the trunked public safety system
here in Fort Worth works great on the 250D. What a great receiver.
Many thanks,
