Hello Gene and all,
A quick check of the FCC database shows NO 800 MHz trunk systems on the big
island (Hawaii County). To the best of my knowledge there are only VHF-high
band public safety frequencies.
Go to the FCC website at this link:
http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/genmen/state_county.hts
And punch in
State: HI
County: Hawaii
Radio Service: Public Safety Pool, Conventional [PW]
You will get 60 listings of County and State PS frequencies.
