I have been working in the Augusta, Georgia area this past week and found=

time to do a little searching. I stumbled upon a VHF trunked system that =
I
believe belongs to Fort Gordon, near Augusta.

The system is 100% digital, but only some talk groups appear to be
encrypted. It is monitorable using the Uniden 250D.

One thing I found interesting is that the system apparently uses two
different base frequencies. I had been trying to figure out the first thr=
ee
frequencies using the channel numbers provided by Trunker, but they didn'=
t
seem to be working out using the first base frequency I determined. I fou=
nd
the first three frequencies by using a second scanner and searching, but
the 250D wouldn't track all of the system until I added the second base
frequency. I had not run in to a system like this previously, but it gave=

me a chance to practice my hex calculations...

Here's what I found;

System ID =3D 5e08
Motorola Type II - ASTRO P25 Compliant
Base #1 =3D 162.5000 Offset =3D 380 Step =3D 12.5
Base #2 =3D 162.0000 Offset =3D 380 Step =3D 12.5
