What permit? No one needs a "permit" from a system operator to listen to
the frequencies used by that system. The operator of the system does not
"OWN" the frequencies, he is USING them. The only permit needed in THIS
country (USA) is for transmitting. As explained previously, unless the
system is a pay per view/listen system as in cable, DSS, and the new
satellite radio, no "permission" is needed in order to listen to the
system unless specifically prohibited by the FCC and only when
prohibited by the FCC. NO MATTER WHAT SOMEONE WOULD LIKE YOU TO
BELIEVE!! CHECK THE LAWS!! ONLY THE FEDERAL GOVT CAN REGULATE THE
AIRWAVES!!
