Just some clarification to this list posted below (info pulled from the
Trunked Radio Information Database at http://www.trunkedradio.net) since
most of the systems listed by wpa are not ProVoice systems yet.
Oakland is primarily analog with AEGIS Digital
Lakewood is also AEGIS Digital
Albuquerque is also AEGIS Digital
Shelby County is also AEGIS Digital
Corpus Christi is primarily analog with a few AEGIS Digital tgs
There are very few ProVoice systems across the nation, but MA/Com is
making some inroads into the public safety market.=20
San Antonio is deploying their ProVoice system, which will be a 6 site
ProVoice/ProSound mixed digital/analog system. Testing is already
occurring in both analog and digital on this system.
The only other major metro area that will be ProVoice Digital is
Oklahoma City, which recently signed a contract with MA/Com.
