[TrunkCom] I wonder what cities that have the older style P-25 ( VSLEP ) are going to do if they upgrade. If they go to P-25, no more privacy.

Well, if they go to P-25 they'll be up to standards.  P-25 isn't about
encrypting and hiding information from the public.  Encryption is built
in, but the main objettiveof it is for clarity and interoperrability.
