[TrunkCom] does anyone know how the new scanners will handle both data and voice from the same channel?

When you say "flashed", do you mean that a piece of hardware is physically
added to the radio ?   Or is the radio simply hooked up to a computer and
then you run some limited software ?  Thanks.
