I don't believe that the teams or tracks actually use trunking as a means
of communication, but there are a few teams using 800 mhz simplex. Most
always the track personnal are on uhf and vhf hi. Sometimes the lists
themselves go for 5 bucks at the track.

My dad used to go to those, and he had a Uniden Sports Cad Scanner
designed just for that. I programmed it, and it sure is a sensative one
with a stub of an antenna. That brings up another good question as I
haven't done any of that in a long time, but I noticed that some of his
freqs hewanted were800 MHz freqs, but are any race tracks using trunked
systems at all and if so how well have they been monitored.
