[TrunkCom] Scanners on Airplanes

Ditto. I carry several scanners and a ham HT on all flights - and I
fly each week. I have never had a problem anywhere. I use the
same criteria as cellphones. When the aircraft door closes the radio's
get stowed. They're great entertainment especially now that I'm
having to get to the airports so much easier and usually have lots
of time to kill. BTW most airlines are now permitting GPS receivers
to be used on board - but you should check first. This information
is generally listed in the back of the airline's flight magazine.
