Subject: [TrunkCom] About Minnesota
I've been scanning local Minneapolis/St.Paul for personal and professional
purposes since the '70's.
"They"-Police,Fire,EMS, etc., planned to install a trunking system during
the '90's.
I was first to spend a lot on the B-C 235, the desktop equivalent, and a
PRO-90.....only to learn that "THEY" used EDACS, I believe, so I was out of
luck, and never opened the boxes.
They question that I would like to "POST" now is, and feel free to edit the
above:
What is the current status of ''Trunking" in Minnesota.
Simply, are there any operational systems that my scanners would work with
properly. Or, if "Digital" has been installed, what upgrades, or new
equipment would I need? I am simply becomming interested in the
years-dormant hobby.
Thank you to anyone who responds.
Sincerely,
Tom Evans
