ok, last question and i am done with this one :-)
For all of the suggestions, like the polish and the toothpaste, do you just
make it into a paste and rub the surface and then wipe it off and you are
good to go?

Novus comes in three grades/strengths, and is good stuff.  It's what
we used on the instrument panels of commercial airliners when I was
in that field.
