Evening:
If the scratch is not deep, try rubbing "BRASSO" into
the viewing area. I would use a piece of towel (rag), to rub it in. You will
see it gradually go away. Afterwards, I would try to clean the area with
common rubbing isopropyl alcohol on a different rag. This method has worked
for me on several radios. It works best when the scratch is not very deep.
DO NOT use any other liquid cleaner other than Brasso and isopropyl alchol.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS THAT EXIST
AS A RESULT OF USING THIS METHOD. It has worked for me on 3 radios.
