Nextel is a different story from trunking.  Nextel can put 4 Direct Connect
or 2 telephone calls on a single freq in one of their cells at the same
time.  I don't know if they use freq division, time division or some other
type of multiplexing but you are not going to buy a scanner or plug-in card
anytime soon that can do that.

You could also make it so you could monitor the Direct Connect of Nextel
as well.  Think of all of the people and priavte businesses that are using
those.
