[TrunkCom] Trunk System in Salem Oregon

Hello All,

First off,  I want to introduce myself as I am a new subscriber to this
list.

My name is John Dotson.  I live in Salem Oregon and am using a just
purchased Radio Shack Pro-94 handheld scanner.

It is my understanding that Salem Fire and Rescue uses a trucking system
(Motorola II).  I have tried to set up everything according to the "User
Manual". I am not getting anything from Salem Fire.  I have entered all of
the frequencies listed in the 2002 version of "Police Call" including Talk
Group ID #'s. At this point I am getting nothing.  My scanner has found the
data channel.

I would like to start a conversation regarding anything I may be doing wrong
or is Salem Fire digital.
