Semi true, if the sales person sells enough so that his commission alone
exceeds the amount he would get at his hourly rate of $6 or so then he
would get paid commission only. If it doesn't the he gets the hourly.
Commission varies from 3.5 to 7 percent depending on the item. On some
discontinued items, they get what is call spiff . Extra bonus above and
beyond normal pay.
