If you really want to find out what is right for you, first research
whatever it is you may be buying, and then go to RS, and if you are
impressed get the salesperson's name, and keep giong there.  If not, keep
looking around because chances are you have more then oRadio Shack in your
area.    This brings up another subject here, and that is that when I was
in a Radio Shack here in Michigan whose town police and fire are on the
state's digital TRS the sales person said that in a few years the local PD
in that town, and possibly the county would move to 2.4 GHz digital?  It
is Livingston County, Michigan, and this is the first I have heard of
anyone trunked or conventional on 2.4 GHz for public safety.
