So what is the difference between LTR and Multi-Net?  I thought that they were both made by the same company?

I didn't think so. I work with both LTR on 800, 450, 220, 150mhz and
Multinet on 800mhz. My wife works for Radio Shack, and I never heard of
any scanner that will decode and track MultiNet.
