Ok, bad terminology...
Let's say that I program a system into the 245 with the
following parameters:
Base: 406.000MHz
Spacing: 25kHz
...this is a typical setting for many Navy systems. I
referred to this as a 'default' and confused the matter.
Anyway, the 780 has one more parameter 'Offset Channel'.
Now clearly there must be an 'Offset Channel' for the
245, I'm just wondering what it is?
And while we're here, does anyone know of a TRS that
_doesn't_ use this default 'Offset Channel'?
As for the support for multiple Base and Offsets, I know
of a local system (Travis AFB) that requires this.
...anyone else know of other systems that require
multiple Base and offsets?
