Hi everyone, I just rejoined the list here although I have been back in town
for a few weeks. I had to address some issues that had to deal with my
software here, and then I had a job interview last week so that kept me
busy. Any how, I have some updates from Florida, and just a few
questions.
First thing is that when I was in Florida and was near and around Collier
County I had the chance to monitor that system, and there is still quite a
bit of analogue talk groups on the system. I know that someone said that
they went to Pro-voice last fall, but I heard very little digital, and
what little bit I heard sounded like AEGIS While in Fort Myers I heard
all of the same analogue TGS I heard last year, but an increase in data
bursts that I think may be MDTS on both of the Lee County systems. Any
how, I am obviously back home, and am just wondering about the new Wayne
County system that was updated on the trunked radio homepage on
Wednesday. I am programming in freqs that are their for the new system,
but have the freqs for the old system included in the list. I am getting
two control channels, and have set my fleet map to the type IIi map on the
page. I am just wondering which system I am better off with, because
there appears to be two of them.
Also, I am looking for the for the EDACS sites for Consumer's
Energy in Macomb County. Any information on that would be appreciated,
and thanks in advance.
