Ok, then what is the point of ENCRYPTION if a simple little service 
monitor can defeat the entire purpose?  

The IFR Service monitor cannot "decrypt" DES-OFB without the actual key 
being provided to the service monitor.  You cannot "read a key" over the 
air - the computing power required to determine and generate a key from 
the DES-OFB format requires much more computing power than a 2975 can 
provide.

Sure, the 2975 can provide testing for DES Type III OFB 
Encryption/Decryption, but only if the serivce monitor already has the key inserted.......
